Recap for February: My goal was to stay on pace with my new school schedule. I could have done a little better, but overall I did pretty well. I am on pace with all of my LTC classes and have good grades, and also in advanced algebra. I have fallen a little behind in physics, but that's OK. I'll catch up over spring break!
Alright, now on to this month's goal! Here's the thing: I'm really bad with Bible memorization. I have a pretty good memory, but I really don't know many Bible verses at all. My goal for this month is to memorize more Bible verses! I've learned plenty over the years, through Awana and summer camps and such, but most of them haven't stuck with me. Here are a few that I have learned and still remember:
Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Ask God for what you need, and thank Him for what He has done. Then God's peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
--Philippians 4:6-7
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. --Proverbs 3:5-6
Those are my two favorites. I also know a few more, like Romans 3:23, John 3:16 (of course), and Romans 6:23. But I'm sad to say that there aren't many more! Some of them I know the verse but not the reference. But most of the ones I've learned in the past I don't remember anymore. So this month, I'm learning more verses, and this time I'm going to remember them!
So I need YOUR help! Leave a list of your favorite verses in the comments so I can learn them! No limit, leave as many as you want! If there a lot I might not be able to learn all of them but I'm going to do my best. I'll recap how it went at the beginning of next month!
