Thanksgiving is this Thursday! Very exciting. I think it's crazy how quickly everyone moves past Thanksgiving and goes straight to Black Friday and Christmas... Thanksgiving has to be the most overlooked national holiday ever. But anyways, enough of that. Let's get to part 2 of my series of thankfulness!
This week, I want to talk about FRIENDS. Yeah, it sounds cliché. But seriously, this week I have been overwhelmed with gratitude for them.
I struggled finding friends for a long time. In my first 14 years, i only really had 4 friends, and never more than 2 at a time. I didn't really have anyone I could talk to, anyone I could hang out with much... It sucked.
But this summer, I have made 6 new friends, and four of them I have gotten really close with! They are such a blessing to me. I know I can always talk to them, about anything. It's been so great spending time with them and growing with them. They are the best!
As I mentioned in my post a few weeks ago, called Confiding in Others, up until I made those friends this summer, I never had people that I felt like I could confide in. But now I am able too, and it has really had an impact on me!
We have had so many laughs, made so many inside jokes. They are always there to make me laugh when I am having a rough day. They are the best and I don't know what I would do without them!
