You see, the more I've focused on developing these new ideas I have, the less I've actually spent time with God. Not only has my personal time with Him been shortened to make room for the time I'm spending on these projects, but I haven't even been seeking His guidance in these new things I'm trying out.
It's so easy for me to just ignore God and focus on the here and now. That is NOT ok!! My focus this week is thinking more about Him and seeking Him in everything I do. What I am doing right now should be and WILL be for His glory and His alone. I need to get my priorities straight and put my focus back where it matters. Because in the long run, my music won't matter much. My relationship with Him will.
I've said this before and I'll say it again: Everything I'm doing is for the glory of God. Colossians 3:17 says "And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all for the glory of God, giving thanks to God the Father through him." This verse is my focus this week. I'm going to live it out, because he is what matters and nothing else.
--Now, I want to hear from you! What are you focusing on this week? Let's talk about it in the comments!
