1. The River (Jordan Feliz)
-This song is just SO catchy! It used to come on the radio all the time and my whole family loved it. It's amazing!
2. Feel It (Tobymac)
-This is another super catchy one! It was really hard to decide whether to go with this one or The River for #1, it was really close! This is one of those songs that never gets old!
3. That Was Then, This Is Now (Josh Wilson)
-A great song by an upcoming artists! This song got Josh Wilson a spot at Lifest this year, so I'm definitely going to go see him! It's a song about forgetting your past, because that doesn't matter anymore. Jesus has paid the price!
4. Love is Here (Tenth Avenue North)
Since I've listened to this song, I've had to go check out the rest of Tenth Avenue North's songs. Turns out there are a ton of songs I had heard before and loved but didn't know who the artist was! Now I'm really bummed I missed them at Lifest last year. This song is about God's love for us!
5. Drops in the Ocean (Hawk Nelson)
-This song is about God's love, and all he has done for us, and how many times he has forgiven us. We deserve nothing, but God's grace is greater!
6. Do Everything (Steven Curtis Chapman)
-This song is about those days when you feel like you're not good enough. It says that even when you feel like nothing you do matters, it does, as long as you do it for the glory of God!
7. Fix My Eyes (For King and Country)
-For King and Country had been recommended to me already, but I hadn't had the chance to check them out yet. Then their songs started coming on the radio! They're very good, and it's especially cool because the two singers are both brothers! Definitely worth checking out.
8. Hope in Front of Me (Danny Gokey)
-No matter how you feel or what's going on in your life, there is still hope! Danny Gokey is a very talented new artist. I think he's going far!
9. Good Good Father (Chris Tomlin)
-Another Chris Tomlin classic. It's not my favorite Chris Tomlin song, but it's hard to beat all the other ones he's got, there are so many good ones! This one is definitely good.
10. Tell Your Heart to Beat Again (Danny Gokey)
-Danny Gokey is the only one to make this list twice! I hadn't heard of him before a few months ago, but he is really good! Gokey actually shared the story behind this song. He explains it much better than I could. If you'd like to hear it, he share it in this video.
